Asus ZenFone Zoom a Photographers Beastfriend

Asus ZenFone Zoom a Photographers Beast-friend

Asus ZenFone Zoom (ZX551ML) is designed for photography enthusiasts or experts who want a quality camera smartphone. Asus Zenfone Zoom is quite similar to the other Zenfone variants: Max and Ultra in terms of design but there is a noticeable difference in camera.

So what about the camera?

Front 5 Mega-Pixel
Wide View
PixelMaster
Selfie Panorama (up to 140 ˚)

Rear 13 Mega-Pixel
w/ flash
w/ LED Flash
0.03 second laser auto-focus
Close-up macro photography (5 cm)
dual-color Real Tone flash
Back Light (HDR) mode with ASUS PixelEnhancing Technology for up to 400% brighter , and evenly exposed photos
Low Light mode with ASUS PixelMaster Technology for up to 400% brighter photos and videos
Manual Mode for DSLR-like camera detail settings
Super resolution mode for up to 52 X resolution photos
Real Time Beautification

10 -element lens

The Camera + the screen (5.5-inch, Full HD 1920x1080/403 PPI,295ppi IPS) will give you an awesome experience in capturing moments.

I hope they will increase the screen-to-body ratio of their phones and the Zen-UI is excellent for that (hope also that users can customize the ZEN-UI more to cater the users needs and wants). The simple design is good to give the background and other effects more emphasis.

Verdict: A quality, good (8.5/10), awesome camera smartphone. If you ask me if I would buy this phone, Yes. Why? Value for Money! the features for the price is excellent. It is even comparable to phones with 25-30k plus price. Asus never disappoints us on battery life. Is non-removable battery an issue? For me it's not an issue, batteries nowadays are quite sturdy.
